Confidence, Strength, & Inner Entrepreneurship: Bella from The Bizy Bee Lifestyle

Welcome back to another creator interview today! I interviewed Bella over at  The Bizy Bee Lifestyle. She was actually one of my classmates in junior year who was in my calligraphy class back in high school. She always had something to talk about and she was a phenomenal artist. Eventually, I somehow discovered her blog! I get so excited when I discover people start their own blogs. Especially, since I don’t know anyone else who has a blog that is from my hometown.

What is your name? Age? How did you got to where you are today with your blog ?

My name is Bella and I am 20 years old. I discovered my love for blogging when I realized so many people need to find their confidence, strength, inner entrepreneurship, and passions! I wanted to create a space for people to discover these things about themselves and even discover it in the stories of others that I share on my blog.

When did you start blogging & what inspired you to start your blog?

I started my blog back in December 2020 because I wanted to share other people’s entrepreneurial journeys and side hustles. I started with mainly posting other people’s small businesses but grew into sharing more inspirational and business related content.

What is your blog called?

My blog is called The Bizy Bee Lifestyle.

How did you come up with the name The Bizy Bee Lifestyle for your blog?

I came up with this name because I wanted it to appeal to business people and entrepreneurs but still encompass a fun and light-hearted play on words. I am the definition of a busy bee and with all my business passions involved, the bizy bee became a clear name winner for me. It is more than just a side hustle or a hobby of mine, this is my lifestyle!

Tell me about yourself ?

I am a 20 year old college student, blogger, and passionate business & marketing woman!

Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in creating The Bizy Bee Lifestyle ?

I am super driven and motivated to reach my long-term goals. I also make sure to celebrate the little wins in my business to keep me going.

Tell me about some of the people you’ve met while working on The Bizy Bee Lifestyle ?

I have met really cool bloggers with similar passions as me! I also met the woman who I ended up interning for all summer as a marketing manager of her marketing firm.

How would (someone) describe your blogging style?

I believe they would describe my style as fun, honest, genuine, and real!

What networking do you do that you feel helps your blogging?

Definitely instagram reels, making genuine connections with other bloggers & influencers, and joining facebook groups!

What’s your strategy with The Bizy Bee Lifestyle in general?

My intent is to write to my 16-19 year old self. That way I am speaking to a real reader and hitting their pain-points.

How do you manage time to run The Bizy Bee Lifestyle efficiently?

I block out certain time frames and days dedicated to my blog and making content.

How do you want to improve yourself in 2021 ?

I want to establish a community of passionate business people like myself and connect with people!

What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?

Hmmm, probably having to switch my blog over to a non-hosted blog because I didn’t start with one originally. This ended up costing me lots of time and money that could have been prevented originally. But, I don’t hold it against myself! I am learning and growing each day. Change and mistakes are normal.

Tell me about your proudest achievement?

Honestly living in this current moment I feel very proud of myself. I am on track to graduate in a total of 3 years with a double major by this upcoming spring. I manage this blog, have a full-time summer nannying job, have a part-time remote internship, modeling for a local boutique on Fridays, and still find 5-6 days to go to the gym! I am really pushing myself lately and am truly proud of the woman I am becoming!

Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?

My mom and dad inspire me to keep following my dreams and sharing my passions with the world!

What is your greatest achievement outside of blogging?

Being on track to graduate in 3 years with a double major in marketing & management!

Considering the fierce competition in today’s business world, how would you highlight your blog and make it stand out of the crowd?

By just being myself because I am unique & no one is like me! So if I am myself, I won’t have to try to stand out.

How would you describe your blogging style?

I would describe my blogging style as real, inspirational, motivational, and genuine!

What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?

I think Pinterest is big right now and should be a tool used by all bloggers to post and network.

What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?

Personally, I prefer getting internal value such as a mindset change or motivation more than I like freebies sent to my email! So that is what I try to deliver to my readers.

What would be your ideal working environment?

My ideal working environment would be working from home in my home office!

What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?

Being sentimental, honest, providing inspiration & motivation

I would like to build a community of people who read my content and want to follow along my life journey being a business woman!

What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

What do you do in your spare time (besides blogging)?

I am a full-time college student and have a part-time nannying job! I also love reading, hanging out with my boyfriend, friends, and family, and going to the gym!

What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

It is not a specific moment, but just being consistent and holding to a strict routine with my posts and content.

What do you find the most frustrating aspect of blogging?

The dirty details of website design, SEO elements, having to learn writing hacks, and being so multifaceted as a blogger.

What is your favorite blog post you have written?

My favorite post is called “Let’s Talk Confidence: Asking People What Confidence Means to Them”

Who reads your blog? Your family? Friends? Or random people? How did you get your blog out there and get noticed by them?

My friends, family, and random subscribers/ followers read my posts. I use instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest to get them out to the public.
