Intro to Notion and My Set up Part : 2

Last post I talked about Notion and went on a brief overview of it. You can check out that post here. I had to split it into two posts because one post was just getting to be too long. So let us continue on my main hub tour.

Weather Hub

Below that, I have a weather widget. It displays the 7 day forecast in my town.

The space below that is split in two headings, each heading is collapsible so you can toggle the label to open up more blocks.

The left hand collapsable heading is labeled menu. It has a box with links to my other linked workspaces that includes college, my content hub and health management .

Notion Task Hub

Below the box that has linked workspaces, I have pages for goals and milestones, tasks, and events. I used these from the Task Hub template.I just dragged them out of the task hub page to make the links easier to find. The events linked page has a calendar for the events coming up.

Notion Calendar View

Then I have a calendar which can also collapse on the left hand side. This is a linked database from the task hub It shows everything in a monthly calendar view.

The section below the calendar on the left is the linked tasks database. However, I filtered it so based on some properties, it populates on its own to only show this week’s tasks that are not completed. I have the same concept on the right side but instead of of the tasks database it is linked to my events and only shows events if they are set for the current date or later

Upcoming Deadlines

The last section in my Hub is again split into two. The one on the left is titled Next week so any tasks that have a due date for the next week and are not done are shown. And any tasks due the next month that are not completed are shown in the right hand section.

So as you can see, Notion can be very useful for a variety of different aspects in your life. Try it out here and give it a chance!
